S to the O Veeee

Never thought I would be bumping Lady Sovereign's shit.

This "Random" music video is goofy but very entertaining.

Lady Sovereign - Sad Arse Stripper
Wow, This midget is pissed.
Make it to the 1:10 mark and I guarantee a laugh.
It's funnier if you know who she is dissing.

I would say she is a bit more charismatic than The Streets and has heavier production. So if you dont mind not knowing what the hell those brits are talking about every other word, check her out.

More tunes/info at her Myspace

Lady Sovereign - Chi Ching

You cant hug with nuclear arms

Sound Bombing Volume II

Great cuts from Eminem, Rugged Man, El-P, and Mos Def plus many others. Snatch this while you can.

Who wanna step through my backyard?

Fishscale is on the way. Heres what we got so far.

Ghostface ft. Raekwon - Kilos
Censored, but the only version I found that has ghost admitting "yo Rae I cant feel my face, my heart pounding and shit" in the intro, great shit.

Ghostface ft. Doom - Charlie Brown
Snippet but still worth drooling over

Raekwon - Range Rovers
New Rae, cuban linx II?

Ghostface ft. Raekwon & Notorious B.I.G - 3 Bricks
Probably scrapped from the Biggie:Duets album but not listed for ghosts new album. Cop it.

Stay tuned folks, Im planning an extensive ghost post featuring mp3's, concert footage, and a great article on the ghost repertoire.

Top 3 Rapz 4 2005

Once again, some of my favorites based on replay or the fact that I actually went out and bought the CD.

1. Blueprint - 1988

Blueprint -
Big girls need love too

Blueprint ft. Aesop Rock - Alchemy (remix)

Alot were late to the game on this one, including myself, if you havent already, check it out.

2. The Game - Documentary

The Game - Hate it or Love it (Street Remix/50 cent diss)

T.I ft The Game - Im a King (50 cent diss)

Fuck you. The Game spits fire. This album is still hot even after the all the G-unit Hating.

3. Cage - Hells Winter

Cage - Hells winter Demo
Strange blade runner beat and different lyrics. Bad quality just thought you might like to hear.

I bought this CD. It came with a bonus instrumental disc & lyrics. I enjoy it emensly.

Flava Favz

Congratulations........... to me, on fooling all kinds of nerds to thinking that the first fake coachella poster I posted was authentic. Did you actually think that they would use the same design as last year? Ha

Its about time. Here are some of my favorites from 2005, depending mostly on replay value.

Top Rock

1. Of Montreal - Sunlandic Twins

Not on many peoples list but I got emotionally attached to this album. Encourages me to see them on tour.

2. Bloc Party - Silent Alarm + Remixed

Mandatory I guess, the remix album is great but they fucked up one of the best songs for me, Like eating glass.

3. White Stripes - Get Behind Me Satan

Hate/Love it, Awsome album, great percussion and well written songs (minus that lame ghost song)

It appears these things are easy to make

New Edition!!!

This came on Vh1 classics today and truly wigged me out. I couldnt believe it was a dude singing this shit. Even funnier, it features a young Bobby Brown who gets called out during the lead singers ferocious rap breakdown! After an extensive limewire search and a back breaking youtube upload I bring to you........

New Edition - Cool it now Music Video

Its crazy what people would make out/dance to in the 80's. Im going to find a young girl and attempt to make out while this song plays. If she allows, I will then rape and perhaps murder her (with this song one repeat!).

The mp3 will be up for download when I find one that doesnt contain annoying skips in the middle of the song.

Death Row Rebirth?

Like anyone else, I thought Deathrow records was over. Apparently not.
Why does this matter?
It looks like NC rapper Petey Pablo has signed with Death Row and is releasing an album entitled "Same Eyez On Me". I didnt think any more disrespect could come to 2pac after eminem produced his last album but I was sadly mistaken.
Anyhow, this is a vicious track from an odd pair-up but alot of shit is talked, and Buck comes with some killer threats.

Death is a Dicktease

Cage is an insane rapper, no seriously, he has the mental record to prove it.
He's not for everyone, I myself really like some of this dudes drug rhymes and love (of drugs) ballads. Eminem felt threatened enough to call him out on his first album ("stepped on stage and sprayed Cage with Agent Orange") and I will be the first to inform you that his Hells Winter tour was off the chain wallet.

Cage - Too Much
A catchy but offensive number, this is what got me hooked on Cage.
oh what the hell, have the remix too

Cage - Ballad Of Worms lyrics
Few rap tracks actually depress me, but the way Cage adds a necro-twist to your average love ballad really eats at my heart. Strange he teamed up with Built to Spill for the beat but it rocks.

Cage - Weatherpeople
RJD2 on the beat, gotta love it?

Cage takes some warming up to, so digest these and get back to me, Ive got some more rarities of his I would love to post.

cop'em while they hot

Finally, some new rock worth posting about.

The Flaming Lips - The W.A.N.D.
Hearing this made me extremely happy these guys still know how to rock, what a raunchy guitar riff!

The Liars - Let's Not Wrestle Mt. Heart Attack

hard hard core

Yeah so the Biggie Duets is a lot of pop beats and whack rapper team ups but if you ignore this album your missing some hoppin tunes.

Biggie ft. Jay-Z - Whatchu Want

Jay's verse almost tops his appearance on Kanye's Diamonds

Biggie - What you want
No Jay, but a 3rd verse from Biggie instead. The beat is great and it kinda makes me mad this didnt make it to the CD.

Checkem OUT!

Monday, January 09, 2006

Anticon (ft. Slug) - The Scarecrow Speaks
Here is an Anticon banger with a creepy beat and great opening verse from Sole

Camutao ft. EL-P - WMR (Weathermen Radio)

This is a catchy number with bomb-ass production from the El-Pro. Def Jux raids the VMA's and assaults some of MTV's lamest (Usher, Ashanti, Kid rock, Kelly O, etc.)

If these are new to you, let me know what you think.

act like you know

Coming back and better than ever. Im going to make more posts now that i have the time for them. I might actually be worth linking to later on cause this blog is gonna get serious, im so sincere. If I can get some html prowess in the house, it would be greatly appreciated.

To start off the new year, here is a sanford and son themed Wu jam with a confused ODB trying to recite big mac ingredients.

Masta Killa ft.Ol Dirty Bastard & Rza - Old Man
